VideoNest responds swiftly to notices of alleged copyright infringement in compliance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This section outlines the necessary information for a valid infringement notice.

Compliance and Enforcement: All VideoNest users must comply with applicable copyright laws. Upon receiving a valid claim of infringement, VideoNest will remove or disable access to the infringing material and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers, as per U.S. law or applicable foreign laws.

Infringement Notification Requirements: To file an infringement notice, provide:

  • A signature (physical or electronic) of the copyright owner or their agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the material that is infringing and needs to be removed, including its location.
  • Contact information for the agent handling the claim.
  • A statement of good faith belief in the claim.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and the notifier is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Procedure Following Counter Notification: If a counter notification is received, VideoNest will inform the original claimant. If no judicial action is initiated by the claimant within 10 to 14 days, VideoNest will restore the material.
